Hi everyone,
I would like to discuss the problem of a poorly operating firing pin safety on CZ P10.
Please watch the attached video with test I did.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hk6lAJWKeks
In my opinion, the firing pin safety in CZ P10 does not meet its purpose. I couldn't achieve a similar effect in the glock 17 gen 4 pistol and to clarify I tried it dozens of times. In this case, the firing pin safety ALWAYS blocked the firing pin from hitting the primer.
I have P10 C and P10 C OR - both with the same issue so I ask my friends with P10 models on Facebook to do this test. Feedback was various , on some pistols have this issue and some not (more of them has that problem)
Maybe test is wrong because frame is seperated from slide so firing pin safety is not working under normal conditions but again, why with glock its is impossible and firing safety fulfills its function and with CZ P10 is not.
Maybe Tim could pickup this problem in one of his videos ?
